These families in this video are representation of the struggles and hardships. Minimum amounts of food, no housing, no schooling, and have no working skills to provide income for themselves and their families. Look at the innocent children as they play and are so playful. It breaks your heart to see how these family live and survive on the streets and homeless in Cambodia. Because it's not only this generation that I've been homeless but there Parents and grandparents repeating the cycle generation after generation. This is the dilemma because the parents don't have the basic life skills to pass on to their family except asking for money to get them a minimal amount of food each day. Unfortunately a lot of them will succumb to drugs and even sniffing glue. My experience on making this video and talking with the people and taking their photographs that they're very gentle and actually seem to be happy. They were not defensive and when I offer them food they were gracious and said thank you and gave me a beautiful smile. Also they did not ask me for money but I did offer them money to taking their photographs.
