At the NICU (The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), parents are under a difficult situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Doctors and nurses decided to develop an online system where patient babies and their families can see each other as it is critical for parents to be close to their babies in the NICU to form a parental attachment. Here are the stories of parents and medical professionals struggling to deal with the hardships of keeping the bond between babies and their parents.
