Contact Adam at [email protected] 3.17.24 / BROOKLYN (NYPD) On Sunday, March 17, 2024, at approximately 0220 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress in front of 77 4th Avenue, within the confines of the 78 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 19-year-old female with a stab wound to the chest and a second 19-year-old female with a stab wound to the arm. EMS responded and transported the aided females to New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where one female victim was pronounced deceased, and the second female victim was listed in stable condition. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing at this time. The deceased has been identified as: Samyia Spain 19-year-old female Brooklyn, NY.
