This is my first time playing through this game. Kindly avoid posting major spoilers in the comments. There are three general types of wizards out there in the world of fiction. The first is the typical Du0026D adventuring wizard, often studious and curious of everything arcane and unusual. Their spells are a mixture of offensive, defensive and utilitarian castings, whatever is needed to get the quest done and the bad guy defeated. Then you have the crazy world-conquering wizard who uses their collosal and often very evil powers to enslave and/or kill everyone for a multitude of reasons. Sometimes they do it at the behest of an even more powerful and evil master, other times they seek to become more than moral and then there are the ones that are just plain mad. The final type are the elusive, enigmatic wizards who just want to conduct their experiments in peace. They situate themselves as far away from anyone as possible, do all they can to prevent people from getting in and guard their secret arcane projects very jealously. What they do is a mystery to the outside world and that's just the way they like it. And then there's Erasmus, who is... Erasmus. He's most certainly an exception to the rule and he's...
